Hannah House is a residential facility
for pregnant and troubled teens/young women from ages 12 to 29.
Hannah House is an interdenominational Christian home in the State
of Arkansas. Hannah House opened September
8, 1997, after many years of planning and preparation. We are recognized
by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization. We were incorporated by
the State of Arkansas on July 27, 1993. Hannah House is governed
by a board of trustees .
Funding for Hannah House
comes from individuals, corporations, churches, and civic groups
in our community. We have written program grants to help with specific
areas. Hannah House has been funded in the past by the Donald W.
Reynolds Foundation, Whirlpool Foundation, The City of Fort Smith,
and the Rosalie Tillies Foundation.
Our purpose is to offer these
young women a place of refuge in a warm, home-like atmosphere where
we can help them work on the issues in their lives that brought
them to Hannah House. We want to help them heal and become productive,
caring individuals who are able to care for their babies, or to
help them in making a decision to place their baby for adoption.
We invite you to take a few
minutes and look around our site, whether you are a young girl in
need of help , a parent of a troubled
teen, or you want to help us by offering a financial
gift or by volunteering
